For the final project of our copywriting course we had to come up with a campaign idea for a pet food brand, and write both a TV commercial script and a radio ad script. As someone with three cats and experience working in the pet industry, I chose to focus on the extremely popular cat treat Churu, which is a sort of puree that can be fed to cats by squeezing it out of the tube.
As a cat owner and former pet supply shop staff, I hear people complain about how their cats don’t drink water all the time. It’s a very common issue and when I discovered that Churu has a 91% moisture content, I knew that would be the best way to approach the campaign. The big idea: Churu is the perfect feline elixir to hydrate your cats.
